Señora Golden may never have known the depth of the impact she had on so many lives. She inspired and motivated her students with her enthusiasm, and made "ordinary" students want to be better people, simply because she believed in them. Señora Golden was one of the few educators who taught from the heart, and she will be greatly missed.

Mlle Golden was an inspiration to many and the personification of Southern charm. She was gracious and maintained an interest in her students, long after they had left her classroom. I decided on a career in education because Mlle Golden demonstrated daily how much she loved her job and her students. She will be so very greatly missed. Thank you, Mlle, for enriching our lives so deeply. J'taime.

From meals with the Wonderful Nine at Disney to Christmas Eve services at her church, she always made "Peggy's daughter" feel like an equal. Her kindness, hospitality, and thoughtfulness towards me and my family will never be forgotten.

Carol Anne Golden was a true inspiration to me as an excellent teacher and lover of other cultures. She inspired me to become an exchange student after high school to Geneva, Switzerland and then to become a French teacher in the Orlando area. I have so many childhood memories of working on French club floats for the Homecoming parade and French contests at Florida Southern College in Lakeland. I hope that you rest in peace. Thank you for the memories.
