Dee lived down the street from me growing up. Many of us hung out there during our teen years and I have many fond memories of her and her family. We loved listening to music, much of it was last fifties and early sixties. She knew people from not just the Fairmount area, but many from North Syracuse and the South side. I met many people from the South side through her that I am still friends with today. Through them,I also met my ex husband with who I share 2 beautiful sons. We had fun playing cribbage, eating red pistachios and drinking Pepsi, sometimes with her mom also. Sorry to hear she went too soon as we had recently reconnected.

Darya and I were inseparable during our high school years. We coaxed each other through many shenanigans. I am terribly sorry to hear such sad news. My deepest sympathy to her children and grandchildren.

I remember Dee as a valued member of the FedEx IT Team in Lakeland, FL and as a willing volunteer in many charitable fundraisers for the March of Dimes and other organizations. We miss you Dee.
