Words could never tell anyone my feelings towards Dave, he was more of a brother to me. He did everything together growing up and there was never a bad feeling that we ever had. Dave I'll always love you and keep our wonderful memories in my heart

Deepest condolences from a Canastota school classmate. Dave and I reconnected several years ago. Always warm and generous, Dave was as quick with a compliment as hes was with a lighthearted joke. RIP cumpà.

Dave was one of the great guys in this world. I only knew him a short time but always enjoyed being with him. He always made me smile. I first met him at the gym when I recognized his name....having taught his son Dave a few years ago.
He will be missed

Mr. Finocchiaro

I am grateful for the respect and encouragement you displayed to myself and others while we were in Onondaga Hill Middle School. I may not have shown you or any teachers my sincere gratitude for the life lessons you embedded in me, but I sincerly appreciated it Coach. May God comfort your family during their time of mourning and may you Rest in Eternal Peace at the right hand of our Lord Jesus Christ in the serenity of heaven.

As a classmate and childhood friend, growing up in Canastota, NY. Dave was always an inspiration to all of us. His athletic ability, and positive personality will never be forgotten.
Dave set an example for all of us to follow, and I know he inspired me as a classmate.
He will truly be missed in life, but his influence will always live in our memory.

Dave was one of the finest men I've ever known! He loved people, he loved life, he loved his family! And all of us loved his Italian cooking! He would give you the shirt off his back...with a smile! I will miss my Zumba friend! The world has lost a wonderful human being, but Heaven has gained an angel! May God bring comfort to Jackie and all the kids!
