State of FloridaPLANT CITY -- Mrs. Ella Mansfield Pierce of Plant City died of cancer Tuesday (August 1, 2006) in Plant City. She was 52.Born in Elliott, S.C., on Oct. 9, 1953, Mrs. Pierce moved to Plant City from South Carolina more than 40 years ago. She was a social worker for the Department of Revenue for the state of Florida. She was a member of Glory Temple First Born Church of the Living God in Plant City.Mrs. Pierce is survived by her husband, Joseph Pierce; son, Randall Derrick, Plant City; mother, Martha Mansfield, Bishopville, S.C.; sister Patricia Sykes, Bishopville; brothers, Stanley Mansfield, Seffner, and Gregory Mansfield, Milford, Del.Visitation will be this evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Glory Temple First Born Church of the Living God, 1301 E. Church St., Plant City. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the St. Mary Community Church in Plant City, 906 E. Laura St., Plant City. Charlow Funeral Home.
