Pawpaw,
All I can simply say is that I miss you, and that I hope you're proud of me and that you continue to be proud of me. So much has been going on in life in the nearly three months since I last saw you. I'm preparing to deploy to Iraq and hope that you will watch over me, so that I can return safely. Whenever I hear Carlos Santana, watch a race, or see the pictures from when we went and raced together it brings back amazing memories of you, and how proud I was at the fact that I was your grandson and you were my grandfather. What hurts the most is that you won't be there when I get married, or be able to hold my kids. I'll never forget the last time that I saw you before you got sick. I had a really good time at dinner with you on my birthday and will always cherish that. I miss you.

Daddy..I know that you are in a place so beautiful that we can't even begin to imagine until we are there with you, but my heart hurts so much, there aren't words to describe. I tried to make sure that you knew how much I loved you, but I forgot to let you know how much it meant to me that you and mom saved my life and how I hope that I had made you proud. This doesn't seem real and I don't know if it ever will. I can still feel your hugs and kisses, you did give the best hugs!! When you are giving out those hugs up there to Mamaw, Papaw and Grandpa Price - don't forget Grandma and Grandpa Salisbury, Uncle Francis and Jacob. Ya'll gonna have a big party. I love you daddy, and we miss you terribly.

Tracy and family,
My heart goes out to you during your time of need. I am here to be a shoulder to cry on or an ear to hear you reminiscing about the past. May God bless you and your family during your time of sorrow.
Your friend always,
Kendra

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

We love and miss you so much Daddy!!!!!!!!!!! If I could only have just one more kiss or one more hug; I will always long for that. It just doesn't seem like all of this is real; we feel like you are still with us. Your are so much a part of us, in everything we do. You will always be in our hearts and minds...I am sure you gave Mamaw, Papaw, and Grandpa Price your awesome hugs from all of us. We know in our hearts where you are and that you are just waiting till the day when we are all together again, FOREVER!!!!!!!
