Irene Blasdell Obituary

Kindergarten Teacher HAINES CITY -- Mrs. Irene Lena Blasdell of Haines City died of heart failure Saturday (April 12, 2003) in Davenport. She was 84. Born in Lysan-der, N.Y., on July 15, 1918, she came to Haines City from Dundee 25 years ago. She was a kindergarten teacher in Dundee for 20 years and a homemaker. Mrs. Blasdell was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Blasdell. She is survived by her son, Richard C. Blasdell, Haines City, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 this evening at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 Grace Ave., Haines City. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
