LEE, 78

LITHIA - Jack C. Lee, 78, of Lithia died at his home on March 28th, 2016.
A native of Purcellville, Virginia, he leaves his wife of 35 years, Catherine, three sons, Gregory of Richmond VA, and sons John Patrick (Tarran) and Thomas (Jennifer) of Hillsborough County, and brother Tommy (Renae) of Ringgold, VA.
As a young man Jack served in the US Navy. He worked as a Financial Advisor in Lakeland for thirty-five years. He was a member of the Lakeland Downtown Kiwanis and served as chairman of its pancake festival for many years. He volunteered with the Tampa John F. Germany Friends of the Library where he served as president and was the bookstore manager. He was a member of the Florida Frontiersmen and enjoyed participating in the Alafia River Rendezvous. Jack enjoyed tent camping with his family throughout the western states, particularly at national parks.
A memorial service will be held at Harmony Haven, 6320 US 98, Bartow, FL at 2 PM on Tuesday, April 5th. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the National Parks Conservation Association or a local animal rescue such as Guardian Angel Dog Rescue.

I loved working with Jack, he always had a joke to tell & made me laugh every day. I'll always have years of fond memories to remind me of Jack. God Bless my friend & his family.

Jack was an invaluable friend and counsel to my family and could always calm my mother's fears regarding her investments. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
