Daddy, you are my angel in heaven. Thank you for my Christmas miracle. You gave and continue to give so much love. You knew the only possible way I could get through this Christmas without you, and you brought my lost Christmas baby back to me. I love you and I will spend the rest of my life on earth and beyond honoring your life, your love. Please join Zachary and I for our Christmas reunion. Can you believe it took 17 years of my searching, and you found him and brought him to me in a matter of weeks. You are the most selfless, wonderful Father in the world. You still insist on taking care of me, and I'm greatful. You have been in heaven for almost 2 months and I still get phone calls from you. I have to smile. You make me smile:) I love you!!! You are my Father, my rock, and now my very own Angel.

Shirley, someone once said, "Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened." When I met you at the funeral home, I could see that you were already doing just that because of the happy life that you and Jessie had together.

I am so thankful that God allowed me to meet Jessie. The little visits that we had when Jessie came to our office to work on our telephones or network system will always be special. He always stopped by the front desk and talked to me about his family, especially his grandson and you. He was so encouraging when I had such a difficult time last year with cancer and losing my mother. He talked about how you and he were praying for me and how God was always in control and knew what was best.

When I met you, Shirley, I could see that you and he were true believers and had a deep faith in God. Just like Jessie, you were also an inspiration to those who saw you at the funeral home. I know that you will miss him as all who knew him will, but I know too that all of us can keep smiling because God gave us the opportunity of knowing Jessie while he lived here on earth.

God bless you, Shirley. Keep smiling, and do call me if I can be of any help to you.

Daddy, I love you and miss always...Thank you for the time and love you have allowed me to share with you these past couple of years. Calling you nearly every morning on my way to work is going to be a hard habit for me to break. However, I'll try to let you sleep in until 9 am or so:) Dad, I know that you are already aware....But you are the truest and dearest friend I've ever known and the single greatest love of my life, I guess that's what it means to be a Daddy's girl. I won't make the service, my Doctor would not clear me to fly this soon. Besides, you would be unhappy with me if I came against Doctors orders. I don't want to disappoint you now or ever. Jeff and I will stick together and take good care of each other, you just keep a watchful eye on us from your restful place above. I'm so elated that you are with the Lord,Nanny,my Paw Paw, Mike, and kiss your grandson Christopher 1/24/98. I'm holding your hand through the rest of my life on earth and beyond. Good night Daddy, Sweet Dreams, Susan
