FT. MYERS - Jordan Ali Taylor, age 22, of Ft. Myers, met her Lord Jesus Christ on January 25th, 2009 in a tragic automobile accident on I 75.
Born on November 7th, 1986 in Lakeland; daughter of Lisa and Darrell Peeples (step-father) of Ft. Myers and daughter of Jerry W. (Butch) and Laura A. Taylor of Lakeland.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on January 29th at Covenant Community Ministries in Ft. Myers (Address: 940 Tarpon St., 33916). Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. Officiating the services will include the Rev. David Pleasant, Jr., pastor of Covenant Community Ministries, and Rev. Tom Sterbens (uncle), pastor of New Hope Church in Sevierville, Tennessee. Interment will be on January 30th at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland at 11:00 a.m. A memorial fund has been established on behalf of Jordan Taylor at Florida Gulf Bank of Ft Myers (8870 Daniels Pkwy, 33912).

Jordan, You were the best sister on the entire planet and I love you so much! I know I'm late on this by 6 years but I cannot express the pain and emotions that I have expressed on your loss but you will always be my Jordan and you can tell Mom! There is not one day that goes by that I do not think about you. I think back to the good old days when we would build forts out of sheets in my living room, or roller blade in my kitchen, I wont ever forget gallons and gallons of water (such a silly game) who knew you could hold your pee so long. lol. There are so many memories that I just wish i could talk to you about every day. I will never forget you and I will always love you. I miss you so much and will always remember the laughs and smiles we shared as kids. You will always be a great friend and I thank you so much for always praying for me to become close with the Lord. I pray for your family every day to have strength and courage that one day we will all meet up with you again. Love you girl and deeply miss you.

hii. i have never met you before, but wear jordan is buried is near my grandmother. i lost my grandmother on february 10, 2009. we visit her a lot and one day we saw a woman crying on your daughter's grave side. we went to check it out cause you guys are really near my grandmother. my grandmothers name is carol anne fontaine. she is near a water hose with a bench. we have visited jordan's grave side every time we go to visit my grandma. i am asking you to visit my mim (grandma) and just say a prayer. you will always be in my prayers. know that i am here for you..trust me.

Jordan,
It's been 5 weeks today since you went to be with the Lord. There are no words to express how deep my pain is. To say that I miss you would not even come close to how deep my sadness is. Never in my life have I felt such sorrow it feels as if I will never be the same. I loved everything about you your smile your fingers and most of all your little toes which I called your piggies. I loved the way I had to dig you out of the covers to kiss you goodbye in the mornings when you lived at home. I admired your compassion for others and all the anmials you rescued. I loved your tender heart. I always called you my baby girl and you will always be my baby girl. God sure did get a special Angel. It's not goodbye it's I'll see you later.

Thursdays service was emotionally exhausting, but comforting at the same time. I will always remember Jordan and the fun times Kayla and I had with her. For example, challenging eachother in board games, playing in makeup, jumping on the trampoline, and roller skating in our kitchen. Jordan touched many peoples' lives, I was personally touched my Jordan's faith. Thursday I felt Him, as well as your tiny dancer. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. God Bless.

My Precious Jordan, I remember the moment you were born like it was yesterday,
but it seems like a lifetime since I got the call you had left this earth for
your place in heaven, which is promised to all that claim Jesus as their Lord and
Savior.
I thank God for the 22 years he blessed me with you as my daughter.
You changed my life when you entered this earth, and you now have changed my
life again as you depart it. I want nothing more than to be the friend, husband,
and father God put me on this earth to be. As you look down upon all who loved
you, forgive us when we cry. We just wanted more time with you here.
I touched your hands today and said good bye to your earthly body that became
so battered after our lord claimed your soul and placed it in your perfect heavenly
body.
You will not be forgotten, not ever. We will talk about your sweet loving nurturing
heart, and your love of life, friends and family.
Send angels to watch over your mom Lisa, and your mom Laura, who loved you as if you
were her own child.
