SHAW, 61
LAKELAND - Joseph E. Shaw, 61, died September 25th, 2014, of cancer.
Joseph, the son of Sexton and Victoria Shaw, was born on March 21, 1953, in Shreveport, LA.
Joseph served in the United States Army & the United States Army Reserves. He was employed as a security guard at a local security company.
He is survived by his five children: Laura Asen, Leaslie Wilhoit, Katrina, Charles Johnson, and Tiffany Bell, his sister Rosie Dye, and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Carla Grosvent.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd at 10:00 a.m., prior to the 11:00 a.m. funeral service. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
