I am sorry to hear of passing. Condolences to her entire host of family and friends. She was my teacher at LWHS. She was wonderful in her trade. She kept our attentions and hearts and graced us with her wonderful personality. She also knew how to tie in her knowledge of my family as she was also my distant neighbor. AND IT WORKED! She is very special to me and has a special place in my heart. It is because of her that I pursued my degree in Biology. She is truly loved and missed. May she rest in heavenly peace.

You were so instrumental in my life. Your advice, guidance, and friendship with my mom will be forever appreciated. You made sure to dispatch your daughter Monica to babysit us whenever my mom needed it. I could never skip school because all absences were reported to my mom. This really hurts. God Bless and forever R.I.P

My dearest friend, Joyce, who has been a part of our lives for many, many years. She was so special to me. I thought of her as a sister. Her sudden death was so shocking! I will never forget my short little sister. Her memories will always live on in my heart. She will be truly missed but never forgotten.

Till we meet, till we meet,
Till we meet at Jesus’ feet;
Till we meet, till we meet,
God be with you till we meet again.

My sincere condolences to the family of Joyce D. Wilshire. May The Creator of heaven and earth comfort your hearts and provide peace to her family and friends.

I did not have the honor of knowing Joyce D. Wilshire but l have been told of the joy and beauty she added to the life of my sister Angie Mack Brown and my nephew Dennis Brown. Only a God could have created a solid 65 year old relationship/friendship between my sister and Ms. Joyce. I Thank God He allowed such an amazing soul to be part of the journey we call life.

May love and Blessings surround you today and always.

My Godmother Joyce was truly amazing. She loved me like I was her own son. I remember she use to take me to the Dollar Store to buy Mother's Day cards for my mom. She always said it's the little things that count to let love ones know that you care about them. The Lord has called her home and she will be missed but never forgotten.

The sudden death of Joyce D. Wilshire, our 1967 classmate, was sorrowful to us and devastating, especially to me.
The Lord knew I needed a devoted friend and He knew who to send.
Joyce always extended a helping hand to support me in all my endeavors.
In my disappointments she had a shoulder for me to lean on and an understanding heart when life's downfall brought me to tears.
I will always cherish over 65 years of memories we shared.
I sincerely hope I showed her how special she was to me. Joyce made sure I realized how much I meant to her.
Rest in peace until we meet again , my best friend.
