VALRICO - Dr. Margaret L. Haywood Arnold, age 87, of Valrico, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016, in Brandon.
Born in Slater, FL, on March 25, 1929, she moved to Valrico from California. She was a retired professor & Dean of Admissions at South West Jr. College in Los Angeles, CA. She was a member of Beulah M.B. Church, Ft. Meade, FL.
Dr. Arnold is survived by her grandsons Darryl Jerome Golden, San Pedro, CA, Nwoye Kibie Bowens, St. Pete, FL, Spencer Surjue'-Bowens, Long Beach, CA, Thomas Jerome Cook, Coleman, FL; granddaughter Tam-eca Bowens, Wesley Chapel, FL; 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Beulah M.B. Church, Ft. Meade.

I ONLY HAD THE PRIVIDGE TO MEET THIS BEAUTIFUL LADY ONCE. WE ATTEDED THE WEDDING OF HER BEST FRIEND, WINNIE'S GRANDDAUGHTER, IN FT. MYERS. SHE AND I SAT BESIDE EACH OTHER AND HAD THE MOST WONDERFUL CONVERSATION. I HAVE ALWAYS REMEMBERED OUR MEETING. GOD BLESS HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS AT THIS DIFFICULT TIME.
