WINTER HAVEN - Mary S. Erikson, age 85, of Winter Haven, FL died Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Winter Haven Hospital due to heart failure.
She was born January 9, 1926 in Wilson, NC the daughter of the late Donald H. and Annie C. (Ewell) Stalvey. She graduated from Wilmington High School in Wilmington, NC. She was a bookkeeper for Owens Illinois and a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Winter Haven, The Moose Lodge, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Social Seniors and the Winter Haven Garden Club - Jacaranda.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Erikson was preceded in death by her son Wayne H. Erikson and brother Donald Stalvey. She is survived by her daughter Donna Rabasca and husband Kenneth of Winter Haven, grandson Derrick Riccardo, granddaughters Erin Rabasca and Lisa Campbell, and three great grandchildren.
Visitation is Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven. Funeral Services are 1 pm Monday, May 2, 2011 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 656 Avenue L NW, Winter Haven, FL.
