I remember Mrs Mildred during my formative and teenage years. She always was soft spoken, loving and kind. She always took the time to encourage you to follow your dream.
After I returned to Lake Wales in 1980, she always took the time to engage in conversation and to make you feel special in her eyesight.
Another faithful soldier has gone home to be with the Lord. I will never forget her......

So sorry for your loss. I remember the good ole days of the Drug Store where Mrs. Mildred & Mr. Bernard had so much patience with the youth in the
community. Such good and memorable
times were had by all at the Drug Store on Lincoln Avenue. Nothing could beat those good ole slaw dogs and a cup of butter pecan ice cream. That was my favorite and Angeline Askew Hawkins and I ordered that almost every time we entered those doors. God Bless! She was a wonderful woman and will be truly missed!
