THOMPSON WRIGHT, 88
WINTER HAVEN- Mrs. Mildred Morris Thompson Wright, 88, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012 due to heart failure.
Mildred was born May 28, 1923 in Vidalia, GA. She came to Winter Haven from Lyons, GA in 1957. She was a member of the Village Church of God, Winter Haven.
Mildred is preceded in death by her husbands, Collis C. Thompson and Reverend W.E. Wright. She is survived by her sons, George Thompson of Winter Haven and Ronald Thompson (Marilinette) of Palm Bay, FL; daughters, Joy Laurent (Frank) of Cocoa Beach, FL, Kay Kaylor of Vero Beach, FL and Anita Cox (Jim) of Winter Haven; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 18, 2012 at 11:00 am at Steele's Family Funeral Services, Winter Haven.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 320 West Main Street, Lakeland, FL 33815.
