POLVINO, 94

AUBURNDALE - Mr. Nelson F. Polvino, age 94, died of heart failure Wednesday (June 11, 2008).
He came to Winter Haven from Silver Creek, N.Y., in 1972, and was a member of the American Legion Post # 8 of Winter Haven. He was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Winter Haven.
Mr. Polvino is survived by his wife of 72 years Arlene R. Polvino, Auburndale, FL., son Charles Polvino, Rochester, N.Y., 2 grandsons Jim and Joe, Rochester, N.Y., 2 great grandchildren.
Graveside services with military honors will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
