PATRICIA HOUSE Obituary

PATRICIA JO
HOUSE, 60

WINTER HAVEN - Patricia Jo "PJ" House, 60, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2014 surrounded by family and friends.
She was born July 25, 1953 in Winter Haven, FL, to Clinton and Joyce Shelton, and was a graduate from Winter Haven HS 1971.
Patti's greatest passion was her family and friends where her sweet spirit and passion for life was a true example to everyone that knew her. Patti had a smile that was contagious and would light up a room upon entrance. She loved to dive, fish with her sister and friends, ski in the Colorado mountains and walk along the beach enjoying the sunrises and sunsets. Her love for the Lord was pronounced to everyone around her and now she lives amongst the Angels in Heaven. Heaven is a better place today.
Patti was co-owner of First Coast Chem-Dry and Heirloom Oriental Rug Cleaning in Jacksonville, FL.
Patti is survived by her best friend and husband, Tripp House, sons Clint House and Blake Keffer, sister Tinya Sheffield and brother-in-law Howard Sheffield, brother-in-Law Steve House, grandchildren: Peyton and Emma Keffer (mother Becky) and Austin Macpherson (mother Jennifer) and a niece Chandler and nephew John Sheffield. She was also survived by so many wonderful friends who cared for and will miss her sweet smile and generous personality.

Prayers and comfort to you, Tripp and your son Clint. Asking Father God to keep his mighty hand on your shoulder as you grieve.

Dear Tripp and family, I was just informed of Patti leaving us to go on to her eternal home. I regret that we had not been in touch over the last couple of years, but I had many happy memories of youth ministry with Patti at then Mandarin Christian Church, and many years of friendship while we worshiped together. I know you feel the sadness of her leaving, but rest assured we have an angel among us I know. Patti was one of the sweetest women I have had the pleasure and honor to know. She has gone ahead to prepare a place for you and will see you soon. Know you are in our prayers and thoughts in the days to come. May Patti rest in peace, at the feet of Jesus.

Tripp, love you and your beautiful bride so much. I am hurting for you and will be here for you whenever you need me! Thank you for always being such an amazing friend. We will miss Patti dearly. I wish I had the words to help you but I know there truly are none so my friendship will have to do! Just breathe....

To the family and friends of Patti:

As a fellow classmate at Winter Haven High she was one of the few to always be smiling.
Patti had a wonderful personality, spirit, and sense of humor. At our last WHHS 1971 Class Reunion three years ago we exchanged a big hug and I saw that smile for the last time. Great people like her should live a good long life. Words do little to express my deep regret over her suffering and the suffering for those around her. Many people have lost a special lady and I am truly sorry.

“Our girl was taken way too soon from all of us.” -Patti Strong

Dear Lord, Lift our hearts up to you and fill them with your peace. Your understanding is beyond our human comprehension, but gives the knowledge and faith to endure even that which we can't understand. Let us be aware of you always God, and help us to remember that your Love is Life that can never really be taken away.
Lord, Bless all who mourn Patti, with the comfort of your love, that they may face each new day with hope and the certainty that nothing can destroy the good that has been given. May memories become joyful, days enriched with new friendships, and lives encircled by your love.
Love is stronger than death. So, we must be content to know that love is not affected by death-it doesn't end, it doesn't diminish, and it doesn't change. Instead, love is immortalized and eternalized through death. And the possibility of that love ever dyeing or becoming damaged or broken is eliminated forever. We put our trust in love & you Lord God. RIP Beautiful Lady!
Amen

Dear Tripp and family. We are so very sad to hear of your loss. Patti was a beautiful person both inside and out and our hearts are grieving with you, but also celebrating her "home-going" with you. May the comfort of the Holy Spirit give you peace and rest. Love in Christ,

I am so very sorry for your loss. May God bless and hold each one of you in the palm of his hand and get you through this time of sorrow. Patti was a great warrior and fought hard but our dear Lord had better plans for her. Now she is flying high with the angels and doesn't have to fight anymore and is in no more pain. God bless each and everyone of you.

Sending love and hugs!! Although john was my brother, I heard more about Patti from Marilyn. She was a coworker but more importantly my friend. I always felt like I knew Patti through Marilyn. Sending much love, hugs and prayers. Only God knows!

And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God fall on my knees
And rise , I will rise

There are Angels Among Us

Patti, and I shared some wonderful times together; during high school, and when our sons (Jason and Blake) were young boys playing TBall at Eagle Lake, and even through difficult times we found a way to laugh and pray together. I remember when she moved to Jax., Fl, and began dating Tripp, and then they married.... she was so happy to have found a man that would love and care for her, and Blake. When she became pregnant with Clint, she was so excited to have a child with Tripp. Even though I haven't been in touch with Patti, in recent years...I will always remember her as a friend and a sister in Christ. I pray God will give comfort to Tripp, Clint, Blake( and her grandchildren) and Tinya. People come and go in our lives; but, few leave footprints on our hearts...See you in heaven, Patti.
