LAKELAND - Peter A. Melnik, 48 of Mulberry, died June 9, 2010 due to heart failure.
Peter was born November 15, 1961 in Islip, NY to Michael and Catherine Melnik. He was a United States Navy veteran and was employed as an inventory manager with The Empire Co., Inc for over 17 years.
Peter is survived by his wife, Diana; daughter, Jasmine Melnik of Tempe, AZ; sons, Dylan and Tyler Melnik both of Tempe, AZ; brother, Dan Melnik of Long Island, NY; sisters, Theresa Damico and Sue Melnik both of Virginia and three grandchildren, Lucas, Lexi and JT. Peter was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kim Melnik.
Memorial services will be held 2pm Saturday at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes, Dukes-Steen Chapel. Interment will be held privately in Florida National Cemetery.
