LAKE WALES - Mrs. Phyllis Jean Rea, 70, of Lake Wales, Florida, died on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at her home, of heart failure.
She was born April 1, 1941 in Front Royal, Virginia and moved to Lake Wales twenty-six years ago from Orlando. She was a retired auto parts expediter. She was an active member of the Women of the Moose Chapter #1974 in Lake Wales. She was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her daughter Robin Neel, and sons Leonard Johnson and David Robinson, all of Lake Wales, a brother Thomas Smedly of Orlando, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and her in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2011, from 9:00 A.M. until her funeral service begins at 11:00 A.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Geren officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Wales Cemetery.
Memorials of remembrance may be made to the Women of the Moose 3601 State Road 60 East, Lake Wales, FL 33898.
