Queenie Myers Obituary

HousekeeperWINTER HAVEN -- Ms. Queenie Mae Myers of Winter Haven died of complications of lung cancer Monday (June 13, 2005) at Winter Haven Hospital. She was 63.Born in Florence, S.C., on Feb. 5, 1942, she came to Winter Haven from Highpoint, N.C., 23 years ago. She was a housekeeper.Ms. Myers is survived by her companion, Estime Deslien, Winter Haven; sons, Christopher Davis, Florence, S.C., Terry Davis, McCormick, S.C., Winston Berteau, Winter Haven; brothers, Robert Britton Jr., Highpoint, N.C., Thomas A. Davis, Florence; sisters, Argaline Britton, Florence, Annie Bell Curtis, Highpoint. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 this evening at Charles A. Lewis Funeral Home, 1700 Second St. N.W., Winter Haven. Services and burial will be in Florence, S.C., under the direction of Ideal Funeral Parlor.
