RICHARD W. "RICK" SEARLES, 54 Haines City Lawn Repair LAKE WALES - Richard W. "Rick" Searles of Lake Wales died Saturday, February 03, 2007 in Ohio from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was 54. Born April 09, 1952 in Michigan; he moved to Haines City 30 years ago and came to Lake Wales in 2005. He was a self-employed mechanic at Haines City Lawn Repair. He was of the Protestant faith and a former member of the Haines City Moose Lodge. He enjoyed motorcycles, shooting pool and family time. He also was a gun, sword and coin collector. Survivors include his daughters, Katie Conklin of Haines City; Rebecca Boldman of Lake Wales; step-daughter, Christina "Chrissy" Whatley of Haines City; son, Richard W. "Ricky" Searles of Taylor, MI; brothers, David, Jerry, Robert and Thomas; sister, Lynn; and 10 grandchildren. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association. Condolences may be sent to www.marionnelsonfuneral home.com .

hey rick, i didn't know you that well, but you made my cousin debby happy. you were very important in uncle georges life and that has meant a lot to my family. all you and debby's family has meant a lot to us. God bless you all and you are in our prayers. love to you all, elaine & diane ludden to your children, remember the good times. that is what will keep you going.

Rick, I personally didn't get to know you that well but I know Boomer did in his younger years and you are in our thoughts, it is very sad that this happened but we know that you are in a better place and have no more worries, if you see my daddy up there I'm sure he'll have a tall one with you. HI Daddy!
I love you so much and miss you! I want you here with me! It's been a week and it hasn't gotten any easier! I know you are in a better place and looking after us. I know you are with grandma, grandpa jimmy and all our other family! I just want you to know I am always thinking about you and I know you are up there watching us and you will never be forgotten!

I'm so sorry about the loss of Rick & Deb. He was a great fiend to me & my father over the years and will really be missed by everyone who knew him. I knew him for 40 years & we did alot of things together when we were teenagers. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
