I didn't know Mr. Tye but knowing Sherry, there is no doubt that he was a great family man.

My husband, Don Roberson, and I have been friends with Roy & Ernestine Tye for over 50 years. Roy & Don worked for Publix together for 15 years. They were big water ski buddies also. Even though we moved to GA in 1973, we have remained friends through the years. They & their family are very special to us; they are a great family. He will be greatly missed. He was one of the nicest people anyone could ever have the pleasure of knowing.
