Russell Erickson Obituary

Building ContractorLAKELAND -- Mr. Russell A. Erickson of Lakeland died of natural causes associated with old age Sunday (Feb. 9, 2003) at Meadowview Life Center. He was 96.Born in Dekalb, Ill., on Feb. 11, 1907, he came to Lakeland from there 25 years ago. He was a building contractor. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lakeland.Mr. Erickson was preceded in death by his wife, Esther M. Erickson. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Clucas, Largo, and Judy Carr, Sycamore, Ill.; son, Robert Erickson, Dekalb; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Anderson Funeral Home, Dekalb, Ill. Services will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home chapel.
