What a role model for us younger musicians that fallowed him. He epitomized the excellence in musicianship that was so much of ROCHELLE HIGH SCHOOL of our day. Bless you gentle soul. I will never forget what it was to have you in my life.

My family and I knew Willie Miles from many years ago. His warm smile and gentle demeanor remained the same over the years. Mr. Miles played trombone and I accompanied him on the piano at many events during his tenure as a teacher. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss of such a great compassionate and caring person. He will be sorely missed.May the sorrow you feel in your hearts lighten by the love and support that surround you.

Willie Miles will be truly missed in the Polk County communities. He served in many capacities. In other words he was a "jack of all trades", teaching, truyant officer & car repairs.

It is my pray that his family find the strength to celebrate the successes of Willie's life---the end of suffering---and the hope of heaven.

I would like to extend my Sympathy to the Family of Mr. Miles. He was my Music teacher at Anna Woodbury Elementary School in Ft. Meade, FL years ago. He was a very good teacher and I thought of him often. Good teachers leave lasting memories.
