Janet Williamson Obituary

Janet Royster Williamson, born on October 22, 1956, in Oxford, North Carolina, passed away peacefully just a day shy of her 69th birthday on October 21, 2025.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 52 years, Earl Williamson, and her children, David Williamson, Jennifer Williamson Frederick (Chad), and Cheryl Williamson Miller (Brandon), who will forever carry the memories of her laughter, love, and unwavering support. Janet is also survived by her dear sisters, Cindy Royster, Elaine Overbey, Sybil Young (Robin), and Beverly Little ( Al), whose lives she touched profoundly. Janet adored her grandchildren-Nicole Williamson, Madilyn Frederick, Nash Frederick, Emmett Miller, and Finn Miller-who were a constant source of joy and pride in her life. Janet has rejoined her beloved parents, Willie Franklin Royster and Willie Lee Vaughan Royster, who preceded her in death. The family is cared for by Gentry-Newell & Vaughan.
