Harold Bailey Obituary

Harold Wayne Bailey, 85, died peacefully after a short illness at Good Shepherd Homecare and Hospice House Sunday, December 8, 2024, in Manhattan. He was born July 14, 1939, in Manhattan, KS. Harold was a dairy farmer and devoted community volunteer.

Harold was preceded in death by parents, B. Wayne and Irene Bailey, wife Bonnie, daughter Terri Kelso, and grandchildren Kevin Good and Kendra Cool.

He is survived by daughters Cheri (Mike) Marstall, Kari (Kent) Cool, and Janet Bailey, Manhattan; eight grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Thelma Bailey, Freeland, MI, and Linda (Richard) Osbourn, Gainsville, VA.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, at Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, Manhattan, with service to follow at 10:30 a.m.. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

The family invites memorial contributions to the Manhattan Kiwanis Club or Riley County 4-H Foundation. Contributions may be sent to the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502. ymlfuneralhome.com
