Abel Acosta Obituary
MISSION - Abel Acosta Sr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 26, 2008, at Mission Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 19, 1950 to Jose G. and Maria A. Acosta.
Abel Acosta Sr. was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Carmen Acosta; and 4 children, Abel Acosta Jr. (Aurora), Argelio Acosta, Araceli A. Quiroz (Federico), Araceli A. Rodriguez (Jimmy); 6 grandchildren; 11 siblings, Dimas A. Medina (Isacc), Rosa A. Cervantes (Esteban), Ninfa Whitesides (Mike), Idalia A. Perez, Jose Armando Acosta (Lucia), Magdaleno Acosta (Silvia), Virginia A. Merida (Juan) Rafael Acosta (Nidia), Norma A. Santellano (Jesus), Ilma A. Solis (Maximo), and Jorge Luis Acosta (San Juanita). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 29, 2008, at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. A chapel service will be held today, Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Funeraria Del Angel.
