ABELINO FARIAS Obituary
MISSION - Abelino "Abel" Farias Sr. entered into eternal rest on Sunday January 10, 2010 at the age of 73. He was born, raised and was a lifelong resident of Mission Texas. Abel was surrounded by family and loved ones, Maria Elena Farias, Jorge, Armando (Rebecca), Abelino Jr. (Nora), Ricky (Yoli), Rene (+Mercy), Jerry, Eddie, Bert (Monique), Steven (Maribel) as well as Doroteo and Virginia Saldana.
He is preceded in death by his parents +Epifanio and +Martina Farias, brother +Aguinaldo (Ester) Farias, and sisters +Eva (+Jose) Reyna, +Esther (+Pedro) Guajardo, +Julia (Ricardo) Galvan.
He is survived by sisters Elfida (+Mario) Guzman of San Antonio, Tx. , Emma (Lucas) Ruiz of Mission, Elida (+Ricardo) Garza of Pacoima California, as well as 9 sons, 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitations will be held at Virgil Wilson Funeral Home in Mission on Tuesday the 12th of January from 1pm to 9pm with a rosary scheduled for 7pm.
Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday January 13, 2010 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Mission,Texas. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be his sons.
We would like to thank the entire staff of LifeCare hospital, especially the floor RNs and CNAs. Their loving care and dedication in taking care of our Dad is greatly appreciated. Virgil Wilson Mortuary of Mission is in charge of funeral arrangements.
