ADAM DANIEC Obituary

ADAM STEFAN DANIEC
Adam Stefan Daniec, 62, was born on November 29, 1948 in Warsaw, Poland. He unexpectedly went to be with our Lord on Saturday, December 11, 2010. Mr. D, as he was known to some, was a native of Poland. He graduated from Warsaw Politechnik University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Adam and his wife, Viesha, immigrated to the United States in 1974 and became residents of the Rio Grande Valley in 1978. Their journey began by arriving in New York City, with a short stay in New Mexico, and was brought to the Rio Grande Valley with the incentive of new employment. Employed by Reynolds Mfg. and later Zenith Electronics, before venturing off into real estate developments in the 1990s. Adam used his entrepreneurial spirit to create successful residential and commercial developments, which flourished throughout the Rio Grande Valley. He was an adventurer and free spirit who loved traveling, history, flying, motorcycling, boating, restoring old cars, and animals. He is preceded in death by his father, Roman Daniec. He is survived by his wife Viesha, of many happy and loving years; his mother, Danuta; his brother, Michael of NewYork City; his three children, a daughter Monika, from Dallas, two sons Paul (Kasia) from San Antonio, and Victor from the Valley; and his two grandchildren, Jan and Julia. Although he called the United States his home, he was always drawn back to his beloved Poland. Adam Daniec was a wonderful husband, loving father and grandfather, generous friend and a humble soul. He will be greatly missed.
Viewing will be from 9 AM to 12:00 PM, with a visitation with family members from 10 AM to 12 PM on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Kreidler Funeral Home. Following, everyone is welcome to join us in celebrating Adam's life at a Holy Catholic Mass at 1:30 PM at Our Lady of Sorrow's Church. A reception will follow at the Daniec family residence.

Adam,
You were a great landlord, that grew into a great insurance customer and friend. I can not grasp that you are not with us any longer. May your family remember you and honor you - as we will do.

Adam Daniec - I think of him fondly. He was a forward thinker, a doer, and a loyal and humble friend. He was compassionate to a fault, and his main love, of course, was his wife, Visha. He loved his sons and his daughter, and his life was one of unthinkable adventure. Nothing was too tough and nothing was beyond him. To know him was to care about him - I will miss him.
