Adan Lopez Obituary
Mr. Barrera retired from Hermann Lease Service, Inc., Alvin, Texas after many years of service, and later worked for the City of Roma, Texas, retiring in 2001.
Mr. Barrera is preceded in death by his wife, Rebeca Ramos de Barrera, sons Juvencio Barrera, Angel Guadalupe Barrera, and Dagoberto Barrera, and great-granddaughter Charlotte Rose Bordeaux.
Mr. Barrera is survived in death by his children Jose Adan Barrera and wife Lupe Barrera, Maria Hilda Barrera de Ortiz (husband, Jesus Ortiz - deceased), Rosa Nelia Barrera de Ayala and husband Miguel Ayala, and Sanjuanita Barrera Garcia.
Mr. Barrera and his wife of 52 years raised 7 children, which grew to include 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Jose Adan Barrera, Jr., Jesus Barrera Ortiz, Danny Barrera Ortiz, Guillermo Barrera Garcia, Adan Barrera Garcia,
Services will be held at Sanchez Memorial Funeral Home, Roma, Texas on Wednesday, February 01, 2023, visitation will be from 8 am- 9 pm with a Rosary at 6 pm.
Mass will be at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in Rome, Texas, on Thursday, February 02, 2023, following Mass, Mr. Barrera will be interred at Los Saenz Cemetery.
