Alfredo Escobar Obituary

ALFREDO ALONZO ESCOBAR
Elsa - Alfredo Alonzo Escobar entered eternal rest on January 18, 2009, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center at the age of 53. He was born on August 21, 1955 to Reynaldo and Octavia Escobar in Elgin, Illinois.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Reynaldo and Octavia Escobar.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Leticia Escobar; children, Sonia Escobar, Luis Alfredo Escobar, Alfredo Alonzo Escobar Jr., Antonio Orlando Escobar, Lisa Marie Poppavich and Collean Escobar; brothers and sisters, Reynaldo, Teresa, Frances, Agedita, Amado, Arnoldo Jaime, Leonel, Roy, Maria and Angelica and numerous grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2009, from 4 to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at the Gonzalez Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 23, 2009, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment to follow at Highland Cemetery in Weslaco.
Funeral arrangements and services are being directed by the Gonzalez Family Funeral Home, LLC of Edinburg.

Our prayers go out to the Escobar family...even though in my 5 yrs of marriage to his nephew leroy i had the pleasure to meet Fred twice he seemed a very nice,simple and respectful person and iam sure he will be gratly missed...
