Alfredo Ledesma Obituary
Alfredo was born in Hillsdale, MI. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple passions; boxing, quail hunting, fishing, traveling, and most importantly, spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Baldemar & Maria Lucresia Ledesma.
Alfredo is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Vela Ledesma; his three daughters, Kaylee Ledesma, Kathryn Cantu, Kristina (Fernando Rodriguez Jr.) Cantu; his son, Robert Cantu Jr.; four siblings, Julia (Danny) Cervantes, Irene Gonzalez, Terry (Scott) Barrieau, Jose Baldemar (Rita) Ledesma III; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today August 31, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Alaniz Ranch in San Isidro, TX.
The Ledesma-Vela family would like to thank everyone for the love and support during this difficult time.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.

Ms. Ledesma, my condolences go out to you and your daughter for the lost of a good man. I got to have lunch with Freddy a few weeks ago and that was the first time I had seen him in awhile. He still had that same wit just like he did in high school when I first met him. We lost touch over the years, but when I saw him again it was as if we had never skipped a beat. We shared good memories and I will always remember him that way. God Bless you and your family.
