Anita Barbosa Obituary
Several years later as an adult she returned to live with her grandmother in Pharr. Anita loved spending time composing music and song writing. Three of her best songs are on YouTube under the name of Anita Elizondo. One of the instruments she loved playing was the accordion.
Her passion in life was going out to eat or taking a small suitcase and traveling to Houston or Monterrey to visit relatives. Her free spirit was always ready to go anywhere at any time.
During her life she worked as a housewife, migrant worker, and a seamstress for Levi's. She was very creative with her hands.
We would like to thank her Primary Care Physician, Dr. Luis Arango for always treating her with such good care whether in his clinic or as an inpatient at Rio Grande Regional Hospital.
Visitation will be from 3pm to 9pm with a 7pm prayer service on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at De Leon Funeral Home in Pharr. A graveside service will be held at 4pm on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Guadalupe Cemetery in Pharr. De Leon Funeral Home of Pharr is in charge of arrangements.

Cindy Barbosa, PSJA friend from the early 70's, may Jehovah give you peace and comfort at this time on your mom's passing. RIP Mrs. Anita Barbosa a person of a kind heart, very hardworking who treated me with respect and made me feel welcome at her house.
