Mrs. Rivera is preceded in death by her dear husband: Jose Maria Rivera Jr., son: Jose Luis Rivera, parents: Hilario Solis & Ascencion Saenz, siblings: Alma Silva, Araceli Solis, and her grandson: Danny Roy Lopez Jr. Mrs. Rivera is survived by her loving children: Antonia Lopez (Daniel Roy), Efrain Rivera (Raquel), Sylvia Longinos(Juan), Alma Chizer(Allyn), Lucia Peña(Jorge), Minerva Rivera, Sandra Molina (Roel), Norma Mercado(Milton), Eduardo Rivera(Anita), her siblings: Amparo Hinojosa(Pedro+), Antonia Laurel(Leonel), Hilaria Hernandez (Pedro), 28 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and numerous family and friends. Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Thursday, April 14th, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission, Texas. Chapel service will take place on Friday, April 15th, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission, Texas. Interment will follow at Ruben Solis Cemetery in La Grulla, Texas. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID, visitors are asked to wear a facemask/covering. Arrangements are under the direction of Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission, Texas.
