Bertha A. Lopez, age 43, entered into eternal rest on April 8, 2007, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born o April 14, 1963 in San Juan, Texas. She was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Ramon Contreras and Fabian Garcia.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 25 years, Miguel Lopez Jr.; sons, Miguel Lopez III and Anthony Lopez; parents, Guadalupe and Santos R. Gutierrez; brothers, Santos B. Gutierrez, Jose Luis Gutierrez, Eleazar Gutierrez, Rolando Gutierrez, and Roy Gutierrez; sisters, Carmen Contreras, Rosalinda Cook, Raquel Rodriguez, Yolanda Gutierrez; mother and father-in-law, Berta and Miguel Lopez Sr.; sister and brother-in-law and brother-in-law, Virginia Lopez Sandoval and Alfredo Sandoval Jr., Raul and JoAnn Lopez, Arturo and Alice Lopez, Mario and Rocio Lopez, Abel and Shauna Lopez.
She be remembered for her kindness and generosity to help others. She was a devoted mother, and spouse who was also dedicated to her work at Medical Center Opthamalogy Associates.
She was involved in a prayer group and was a Parish Lector at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Visitation was held Wednesday and Thursday, April 12, 2007, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and April 12, 2007, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian burial was held Friday, April 13, 2007, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Intermetn followed at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Roy Gutierrez, Rolando Gutierrez, Jose Luis Gutierrez, Raul Lopez, Arturo Lopez, and Mario Lopez.
