Blanca Espino Obituary
Blanca was born to Toribio Hernandez and Leonor Garza on March 16, 1943, in China, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. In 1963, she married her beloved husband, Carlos Espino with whom she had four wonderful children, Blanca (Oscar) Escobedo, Hilda A. "Chela" (+Julio) Ayala, Leonides "Lilly" (Mike) Monreal, and Carlos (Cynthia) Espino Jr. The love for her family and community developed "a great example of love" for her children, grandchildren and loved ones.
Blanca was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Espino, their son Carlos Espino Jr., her parents, Toribio Hernandez and Leonor Garza, her granddaughter Julissa Ayala, and son-in-law Julio C. Ayala.
She is survived by her children Blanca Escobedo, Hilda A. "Chela" Ayala, Leonides "Lilly" Monreal, and daughter in law Cynthia Espino. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren: Jose Alfredo, Oscar, Carlos, Krystal, Orlando, Osiel, Amber, Michelle, Sarah, Jaime, and Jakqeline and 5 great grandchildren. She is dearly loved and will be missed by all.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, from 3:00-9:00 PM, at Flores Funeral Home Chapel A, with a rosary at 7 pm.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen, TX.
Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Garden in McAllen, TX.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Flores Funeral Home of Mission.
