CARLOS CONTRERAS Obituary
VON ORMY/McALLEN - Carlos Omar Contreras, 34, entered into eternal rest on September 1, 2011 in Von Ormy, TX. Carlos was born April 4, 1977 to Lorenzo "Larry" Contreras and Nancy G. Contreras in McAllen, TX. He is preceded in death by his wife, Veronica Lynn Salinas Contreras.
He is survived by his loving family; parents, Lorenzo (Nancy) Contreras; brother, Christopher Contreras; sisters, Crystal (Efrain) Hinojosa, Cerina (Armando) Zamora, Chloe "Mark" Trietch and Sarai Gabriela Contreras.
Visitation will be held today, Monday, September 5, 2011 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen, TX. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan, TX. In lieu of flowers the family requests dontations be sent to Our Lady Queen of Heaven Acts, 11150 McDona/La Caste Road, TX 78054. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Weslaco, TX. All funeral arrangements are entrusted to Ceballos Funeral Home in McAllen, TX.

For my brother Charlie, i miss you so much! Each day we try to get stronger for you, each day we smile at the memories you gave us. I know you are at peace and back into your wife's arms.
