Wow, I just found out. It's strange to know that he's gone. We were great friends in our high school days. He was always larger than life, and we've had a lot of fun. My condolences to his family and friends. He will truly be missed....

To the family and fellow friends, I send my condolences. I met Chris while we were in College. I consider myself fortunate that we were in the same circle of friends at Pan-Am and LARP. I always knew him for going above and beyond in anything he loved or cared about. Then, and now, Chris is one of the Greatest people I am happy to call a Friend in my life. I am greatful for the memories and will never forget him.

I just found out about this tonight, and I can't even begin to express how much it hurts and saddens me. Chris was one of my best friends in High School, and by far the most unmistakeable personality of them all. We fell out of touch over the years and in mid-November I decided to try and get in touch with him again, but to no avail. And now this. Its a shame that we didnt keep in touch, because I know I would have stopped at nothing to attend his memorial.

I've shared this news with my friends on Facebook, because as I've learned over the years, Chris was everywhere and everybody knew him. You were a real inspiration, and everyone deserves to have a friend like you growing up. Maybe I'll see you on the other side someday.

To Chris' family.... all of us who had the great pleasure of working with Chris will deeply miss him. Thank you so much for bringing him into our lives for the short time that we were able to have him. I will always remember all of us Texans going to New York together. He was so nervous to see Betsey that he refused to let go of my arm during the entire trip. I think I had a red rash once we headed back to Texas :) We spent the nights getting lost in the city and dancing! I will always appreciate how encouraging and sweet Chris was when he would call me each week at my store. He was so funloving and was the best at making anyone laugh. Such a kind-hearted person.

I miss you so much already, Chris.

Love,
Tara Pettinato

My deepest sympathy to Chris' family. Chris was a very talented man whose love for the fashion industry was evident in his unique abilitiy to influence the design of our boutiques. I will remember Chris not only for his creative style, but for the love he expressed for his family during our many conversations. We shared quite a few laughs while working together during our successful work projects. I will always be grateful for the time we spent together, and will never forget Chris.
