Daniel Hernandez Obituary
Danny was born to J.G. and Maria Hernandez and graduated from McAllen High School . He went on to serve in the US Army during the Vietnam war and later married his lovely wife Minnie. Along with his brother-in-law, Daniel founded and owned D&D Wheel Alignment for over 30 years. Throughout his life, Daniel continued his service to his fellow countrymen for over 30 years as an advocate for veteran rights through his involvement in the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents J.G and Maria Hernandez; and brother Rodolfo Hernandez.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 49 years, Minnie Hernandez; his daughters, Dina Hernandez(Steve), Yvette Rosso (Jeff), and Delilah Espinoza (Christopher); 2 beloved grandchildren Kate-Marie and Paul Daniel Rosso; 2 brothers Manuel and Eloy Hernandez; and 2 sisters Minnie Villarreal and Oralia Edgel.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 20th from 6pm to 8pm at Kreidler Funeral Home in McAllen TX. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 21st from 10am to 11am at Calvary Baptist Church in McAllen, TX. Burial procession will be leaving 12:30pm from Kreidler Funeral Home for the 1:00 PM burial at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery.

Danny was a Dear childhood friend, we went to McAllen High school and played basketball. later in life we shared moments and memories of our childhood.

To his loving family, I extend my deepest condolences. I have known Danny for many years. We played golf together for years. He was a very competitive and enjoyed playing golf at Palm View GC. May God bless your family with peace during this time of loss and sorrow. May he rest in peace.

Danny, as soon as I saw your picture, a sad feeling came over me. I'll never forget our conversations at the VA clinic. You never gave up your battle against this dreadful decease, and you had hopes of beating it. I'm proud of you, Danny, I wish I had half the courage you had. You fought till the end, "y nunca dejaste caer la bandera!" Rest easy, Trooper, rest easy in the arms of our Lord.
