DENISE DELGADO CORPUS CHRISTI/ALAMO - Denise Delgado, 28, died Sunday, June 21, 2015, at her residence in Corpus Christi, TX. Born in McAllen, she had lived in Alamo all of her life. Denise was a wrestler in high school, therefore always encouraged her children to be in sports. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; and paternal grandmother. Denise is survived by her two sons, Luis Antonio Nieto and Alejandro Nieto, both of Corpus Christi, TX; mother, Estella (Juan Rivera) Tijerina of Mission; father, Eugenio (Crystal Medina) Delgado of Alamo; two brothers, Andrew James and Kevin Mathew Delgado, both of Alamo; three sisters, Jennifer Delgado of Mission and Laura Delgado of Pharr, Sara Resendis; paternal grandfather, Juan Salazar; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friends, Luz Peña and Osvaldo Perez. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, June 24, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2015, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
