Edmond Tobola

Pharr - Our father Edmond (Eddie) Tobola, 71, of McAllen, Texas was called home by his Heavenly Father on December 12, 2022, surrounded by family and friend. He was born to Stubert E. and Dorothy Tobola on January 4, 1951, in Mission, Texas.

Eddie was a loving brother, husband/partner, father, grandfather, and great grandfather with a unique personality that touched the hearts of many people within the community. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in the yard. After attending McAllen Highschool, he began his work journey in construction and automotive repair, eventually opening Tobola Parts and Machine Shop in McAllen, Texas. Upon retiring from the automotive world, he pursued a life-long fascination with antiques. For the remainder of his working life he spent his time doing estate sales and running an antiques store.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Annette Glass, and his brothers-in-laws Lester Glass and Kerry Guest. He was survived by his girlfriend, Eva Fritts; his children James Tobola, Daniel Tobola, Marie Nipp and Natasha Tobola del Barrio & their spouses; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; his siblings E. William Tobola, Charles Tobola, Mary Euler, Janet Guest, and Rita Tobola & their families. The family would like to extend a heart filled thank you to the staff of Legacy Home Health Agency & Colonial Manor Nursing Home for their loving care. A memorial service will be held at Kreidler Funeral Home on North 10th St. in McAllen, Texas - Saturday, January 28, 2023at 2:00pm. No Burial to follow.
