ELOISA OLVERA Obituary

ELOISA M. OLVERA ALAMO - Eloisa M. Olvera, 93, died Saturday, December 20, 2014, at her residence in Alamo. Born in Alamo, TX, she had lived in San Juan most of her life and was a member of Iglesia Nueva Jerusalen and Iglesia Del Valle De Santa Pentecoste in San Juan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raul Olvera; a daughter, Anna Maria Baughman; five sisters; and four brothers. Mrs. Olvera is survived by four daughters, Frances (Noe) Tovar, Gloria Espinoza, both of San Juan, Norma (Bill) Muse of McAllen, Nora (Reynaldo) Rodriguez of Alamo; 13 grandchildren, Nancy Estrada, Judy Ann Tapia, Lisa Cavazos, Roy Estrada, Noe Tovar, Jr., Sandra Smith, Marcos Antonio Tovar, Melinda Espinoza, Edward Garcia, Edrianne Garcia, Gaudencio Olgin, Christian Joseph Garcia, Christopher Joab Garcia; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, December 22, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Heavenly Splendor Family Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
