Francisco Femat Obituary
Mission - Francisco Javier Femat, Sr. 82 went to be with the Lord his wife Viola and daughter Teresita, on January 25, 2007. He passed away peacefully at Mission Nursing Home. He was born on September 19, 1924, in Mission to Tiburcio Femat and Francisca Perez Femat. He was part owner of T. Femat & Co. He was a well respected businessman in the community for over 50 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Mission. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Norma (George) Mehis of Mission, Mary Elizabeth (Robert) Clary of Corpus Christi, Francisco Javier (Gloria) Femat, Jr., of Mission, Ramiro (Anna) Femat of San Antonio, Sonya (Richard) Cantu of Mission, George (Carla) Femat of Mission. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, his sister Judy (Pete) Rodriguez of Mission, his sister-in-law Mary Alice (Rene) Gorena of Donna and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Francisco Rugama the nurses and staff of Mission Nursing Home for their wonderful care of our dad.
Visitation will be held today, Sunday, January 28, 2007, from 1 - 9 p.m. with a rosary to be held at 7 p.m. at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission. A funeral mass will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Mission with Mon. Robert DaVolla officiating. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
Services are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission.

My wife Gale, our children and I send deep respect and condolences to the whole Femat family. The Femats are the best example of what is meant by Christ-like people. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers daily. We are so sorry for your loss.
