George was my hair dresser for a long time, he knew my mom, Estella Macias- both hairdressers, studied together and continued their friendship, my sisters and I including mom all got our hair done by Georgs at o e time or another, especially weddings. Love George, always joking and had sweets at his station...always a time to talk and laugh! He will be missed, never another like George!

Oh, sooooo sorry to hear George has left us! He was one of the few best in South Texas in his industry. Enjoyed visiting with him, Steve, Eloy, Cookie, and Eloy. He always had a smile on his face. God Speed George! Condolences to your family.

George, I´m sorry for all the times I meant to call and didn´t; so sorry I didn´t go by the house to leave the pictures or insist that you meet me when I was leaving McAllen.
I remember you with the mannequin at Estella´s, you asking me to buy a shop for you to work at. The many hair shows and conventions.
Telling our mothers
we´d be ok on the trips because the other one was going.
That wonderful year when we were the "big shots" in THCA.
I can´t be there for your final farewell. You will always have a place in my heart. I will continue to share our memories with my family every time you pop into my head.

I first met George when we were teens and he was starting his amazing career on S. 17th St. I followed him where ever he worked. He
started as my hair stylist but became a lifetime friend. He did my hair for college
dances/parties--my wedding--and as an amazing repair artist when I lived in San Antonio and Corpus Christi for 4 years. When I would get
a horrendous haircut or color, I would call George crying and he would tell me to come home and he would"fix it". George would also do my Mom's hair. When she became bedbound, he
would come to the house to do her hair. Mom loved George and looked forward to seeing him. It made her feel so much better and special. I know George is soaring with the Angels! HE WAS A TREASURE. Condolences to the family and love to Chuy.

In Loving Memory of Jorge
For 35 years, Jorge was more than just my hairdresser-he was a trusted friend and a true artist in his trade. His kindness and generosity were evident in every interaction, and his professionalism shone through in everything he did. Jorge had a rare gift for making those around him feel cared for and valued.
He was excellent in his craft, always striving to bring out the best in everyone who sat in his chair. But it was his warmth and compassion that truly set him apart.
Jorge will be deeply missed, but his legacy of kindness and excellence will remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Rest in peace, dear Jorge.

So many memories always loved him.
I remember when he wore those boots and we could here him coming down the hall at the THCA conventions.
May he rest in eternal peace

Your work is now done. No longer running 2-3 customers at a time, standing for long hours at a time or coming in on Monday´s to for those special requests. That´ll be how I will remember you, at the service of your clients. Giving selflessly of your time, talent and listening to humorous stories. I don´t know of a salon chair and it´s Maestro with such a wide, varied devoted clientele. You´ve touch so many lives. Treating all that sat in your chair- like family.
You will be terribly missed. I know not of anyone that would be able to follow or match your talent. Dalia, Davina and I will carry you in our hearts always. Rest In Peace. You´ve earned your wings cousin. They will help ascend you into the highest place in heaven. Rest Easy.
