Georgia Wicklund Obituary
She was born to George and Helen Tookey in Knoxville, Iowa on March 1, 1942. She graduated from Rangely High School in Colorado and from Des Moines Area Community College. Georgia retired from Quest Communications (formerly Northwestern Bell) after 40 years.
Georgia married Richard A. Wickland on December 5, 1964 in Des Moines at First United Methodist Church. In their retirement they visited all 50 states and fell in love with Texas where they resided.
She is survived by her sisters, Helene Wilson, Carol Tookey (Lester Lindquist), and Leah Tookey and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; parents; brother, Vincent (Marlys) Tookey; and brother-in-law, Robert Wilson Sr.
