He is survived by son: Alejandro Montemayor (Edna); daughters: Maria Arredondo (Benjamin), Josefa Gutierrez (Roel) and Lilia St. Clair (Roger+); brother: Ruben N. Montemayor (Teresa); sisters: Maria de Jesus Rita Montemayor Garcia Ayala (Jesus), Lilia Montemayor Garcia; 12 grandchildren; Alex Andrew Montemayor, Angela Serna (Richard), Benjamin Arredondo, III (Frances), Steven Gutierrez (Keyla), Samuel Gutierrez, Megan Lee St. Clair+, Elizabeth St. Clair, Alejandro Montemayor Jr., Michael Saucedo (Denise), Tomas Gomez, Samuel Chapa (Lynn) and Jennifer Acuna (Adrian); 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, November 29, 2023 with the Liturgy at 5:30 pm and the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen. Celebration of Life Mass will be said at 10:00 am Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.

A wonderful gentleman that taught me so much through my life. Was always happy to see me and have wonderful conversations. He was like my second Dad. You will be missed Mr. Lupe.
