Herlenda Montalvo Obituary
Born in Ricardo, TX, Herlinda lived on the outskirts of Rio Grande City most of her life.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Tomas and Maria Garcia; three siblings Isabela Mayorga, Juan Garcia, Abel Garcia; and one grandchild Xavier Ray Hernandez.
Left to cherish her memories, her husband of 61 years; Erasmo Montalvo. Her children; Dalinda Garcia, Belma Garcia, Ricardo Montalvo, Erasmo Montalvo Jr. and Raquel Montalvo-Hernandez; grandchildren; Idalia Garcia, Jose M. Garcia Jr., Daniel Garcia, Dina Garcia, Anthony Montalvo, Myranda Montalvo, Mariaha Montalvo, LeeAnn Montalvo, Victoria Montalvo, Ryan Montalvo, Christian Hernandez, Brandon Hernandez; Great Grandchildren; Aubrey Garcia, Maddisyn Garcia, Alyssa Villarreal, Jay Villarreal, step mother Amparo Garcia; four siblings Eulogio Garcia, Silvestre Garcia, Teresa Garcia Arriazola, Fransisco Garcia, and Juan Lino Camargo.
She was a hardworking, strong willed, dependable, caring, and loving woman. She was our rock; she enjoyed having the family celebrations and gatherings. She was all about her family.
We love you Mammy, till we meet again.
Visitations will be held from 1 to 9 pm with a 7 p.m. Chapel Service today, September 15, 2016, at Sanchez Funeral Home in Rio Grande City. Funeral Service will take place, Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Sanchez Funeral Home. Burial will follow to La Puerta Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Sanchez Funeral Home In Rio Grande City.
