Jaime Elizondo Obituary
Raised in a warm and loving environment, he cherished time spent with family and friends. After graduating from Edinburg High School, Jaime embarked on a career as a driller in the oil and gas industry.
Jaime had a passion for fishing, hunting, and beekeeping, generously sharing honey with many over the years. An excellent cook, he took great pride in preparing meals using traditional methods such as earth ovens and enjoyed BBQing for loved ones. Additionally, Jaime was an accomplished taxidermist, master wood carver, cabinet maker, and electrician.
He is preceded in death by his father, Alberto Elizondo; and brother-in-law, Homero Cano.
Mr. Elizondo is survived by his mother, Ernestina T. Elizondo; two sisters, Ernestina Elizondo Cano, Maribel Elizondo (Alfonso) Rodriguez; three brothers, Alberto (Martha) Elizondo, Ruben Elizondo, and Armando Elizondo; numerous nieces and nephews, Monique Tenay Cano, Tiffany Denise Cano, Homero Ernesto Cano, Victoria Celin Rodriguez, Anna Elizabeth Rodriguez, Ruben Daniel Elizondo, Adan Alberto Elizondo, Esteban David Elizondo, and Valerie Myra E. Elizondo.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m., with a 9:30 a.m. rosary, Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg.
The Elizondo family thanks you for your ongoing thoughts and prayers.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
