Javier Rios Obituary

McAllen - Javier Ricardo Rios from Mission died on May 14, 2016 at Paxvilla Clinic in McAllen, Texas. Javier was a wonderful father loved by many. He loved the fishing life, BBQing and gardening.

He is preceded in death by his father, Pedro Rios; brothers, Ramon Rios; and sister, Clementine Trevino.

Javier is survived by his mother, Marcelina Rios; children, Jennifer Gonzalez, Sonia Pina, Jorge Navarro, Yesenia Cereceves, and Javier Ricardo Rios Jr.; sisters, Teresa De Leon, Maria Arismendez, Rosa Marquez, Nora Sifuentes, Gloria Rios, Ana Sifuentes, and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home of Mission. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church of Mission. Cremation will follow.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home of Mission.
