Jerry Guinn Obituary
He is survived by his loving wife Sarah, his children Jennifer Oliver, Lisa Cosher (Bill), David Rhodes and Shelly Schwentker (Rick); grandchildren Jacoby Oliver, Chelsea Locklin (Jason), Justin Carver (Pam), Alec Cosher, Macey Schwentker, Julie Humphries (Dave) and Brian Schwentker; great-grandchildren Matthew and Mason Humphries and Atticus "Jack" Carver.
He moved to the Rio Grande Valley from Missouri after retiring from General Motors; proud member of United Auto Workers Local 2250; was Chairman of the U.A.W. Greater St. Louis CAP Council for many years, Chairman of So. Tex UAW IAC Retiree Group, President of El Valle Del Sol Activity Council, Volunteer for AARP and Salvation Army.
A huge thank you to hospice nurses Dianna, Jessica, Lupita and Sandra for their kind care.
Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe on September 24, 2016 at 8:30 a.m.
Celebration of Life on October 02, 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri at Region 5 UAW Office, 620 Dunn Rd. Hazelwood, Missouri.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to Comfort House, 617 Dallas Ave. McAllen, Texas.
Elizondo Mortuary & Cremation Service of Mission was in charge of the services.

Everyone that has met Jerry will remember him. No one will forget "AND THE CROWD ROARED" He will be missed by many. The Wagoneers have really been missing him. He was always so much fun to be around.
